AK Sigorta partnered with GTech to upgrade its Oracle Hyperion Planning environment, ensuring its budget planning and financial reporting infrastructure stayed current, reliable, and easy to manage.

The Project:

Migrating from Hyperion version 11.1.2.4 to version 11.2.x.
Converting the EPMA applications used in the current version into classic applications compatible with the new version.
Configuring Hyperion users defined on the RAC database.
Developing data and metadata processes with the ODI tool.
Designing metadata and data backup processes to protect business continuity.

Achievements:

Existing technical errors were eliminated, making the system faster and more useful.
Metadata management became easier after transforming the EPMA application into a classic application.
Metadata and data transfers now run fast and smoothly.
Should any issue arise, Oracle Support provides coverage by keeping the Hyperion and Database versions aligned according to the official support matrix.
